In keeping with the College’s regulatory mandate, the focus of Professional Practice, Policy and Legislative Services is to provide members with programs and services designed to help them practise in a safe, competent and ethical manner consistent with the Nova Scotia Standards of Practice for Registered Nurses

We also track and trend data in order to identify issues that impact nursing practice – this assists us in policy development and education planning.
