As a registered nurse in Nova Scotia YOU ARE the College of Registered Nurses of Nova Scotia. Want to stay in touch? Have your feedback heard? Influence decision-making by the Council? Meet with other registered nurses in your electoral district?
One way to do all this is to join educational sessions presented by a College Facilitator in your area. Or maybe you would like to become a College Facilitator.
Background The College Facilitator Program is grounded in the foundation of the Local Facilitator Program that was successfully launched as a pilot project in 2000 and established as a provincial program in 2001. In 2004 the Local Facilitators met and revised the role to better meet the needs of registered nurses and in 2005 the Local Facilitators met with College staff to make these changes a reality.
